Q. I'm using Firefox, Opera, or another non-standard
alternative browser - will the portal work for me?
A. It may and it may not - as a rule we do not support
any browser platform other than Microsoft Internet Explorer.
If you are having trouble using the portal with another
browser try using Microsoft's Browser.
Q. I'm getting the message 'Unable to load print
control.' when trying to use the print button. What
does this mean?
A. The print button feature requires a small
program be loaded once onto your computer. Depending
on your security settings you may not be able to load this
program. If you are prompted to install an 'Active X'
component go ahead and agree to install it. You may
also need to login to your computer once as an Administrator
to install this component. If you cannot access your
computer as a system administrator you can use the Export
function to Export the report to an Adobe PDF file and print
from the PDF reader until you can have your system
administrator login and install the print control.
Q. I'm getting this error; 'Error occurred during
printing (0x8007007A)'. What does this mean?
A. You do not have a default printer or any printer setup
on your system. Add a printer to your system using
Windows Control Panel or consult your system administrator
if you are unfamiliar with adding printers to Windows.
Q. This website is running extremely slow on my computer -
what is wrong?
A. EPC's Dealer Access Portal is a web software
application which is a little different than a regular
website. Make sure you have a fast DSL or broadband
connection and a relatively modern computer for the best
experience. Scan your computer for viruses and spyware
as these will slow down your access the internet in general.
Test your internet access speed using one of the many tools
available such as
http://www.speedtest.net/. Also try accessing the
portal from another computer that has a different connection
to the internet - you may need to contact your Internet
Service Provider (ISP) if you feel one of your connections
is much slower than another.
Q. I cannot see the Print button on my report.
Where is it?
A. Your screen may be set too small to view the entire
report - use your scroll bars on the right and bottom right
to scroll over - you should see the button on the far right
of the report viewer.
Q. I don't have the Adobe Reader program on my computer -
where can I find that?
Q. I'm trying to view one of your business opportunity
videos but I'm getting an error or no audio or no audio or
video - what should I do?
A. These videos are in an industry standard Adobe Flash
format. You will need to download and install the free
player if you don't already have it installed on your
computer to view this type of streaming media. You can
get the free Adobe Flash player at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/.
